I have menopausal dry to very dry skin and there wasn't much lifting going on after using this cream It did no harm to my skin but I certainly didn't feel like my eye area was nourished with moisture after using it. perhaps it is better suited for younger skin in their 20's but not mature skin. The cream has a light weight feel to it- definitely not a rich cream
